A flameproof panel enclosure (also called an explosion proof enclosure) is designed to withstand an internal explosion and to cool the escaping gases through precision flame paths, so the outside atmosphere does not ignite. Our enclosures suit Zone 1 and Zone 2 and gas groups IIA, IIB and IIC.
Since 1992 we have developed a wide range of enclosure sizes. Standard sizes are kept ready, and special enclosures are made to your dimensions, with mounting plate, cut-outs, windows and cable entries exactly where you need them.
